Roxbury Takes Down CV in DL Hoop Opener

Dan Flanagan/The Reporter ROXBURY - The Rockets defeated Charlotte Valley 72-40 at home on Thursday in Delaware League play.

For Roxbury, Isaac Walker led all scorers with 24 points in the win. Of those 24 points, the offensive standout dropped eight field goals and went 7-9 from the charity stripe according to the score book.

Walker will be a powerhouse this season and will be looked upon to do a little bit of everything for the Rockets.

Going into the second quarter, the Rockets led 10-2 and it was in the second that the offensive line heated things up. They scored 22 points in the second quarter, 24 in the third quarter and closed scoring with 16 points collectively in the final frame.

For Charlotte Valley, Dylan Waid led with 13 points in the loss.
