November is the time to look forward to Thanksgiving. Raise thankful kids with a monthlong lesson on Thanksgiving, its origin and true meaning. Show them you’re thankful for them, and show friends and family. Get your Christmas tree out early and create leaf-shaped ornament using fall-colored paper with a hand written “I’m grateful for...” on each. It will be inspirational and beautiful. Or just use a jar or bowl on your counter. Share your pictures on social media like Facebook or Twitter to inspire others.

Words of gratitude come from the Colchester Community Church expressing appreciation to the donors of the quality items given and the patrons who came in support of the rummage sale.

The family of Paul “Sparkie” Doig Jr. also sends heartfelt appreciation to the community and to the DFD Ladies Auxiliary for creating a very warm luncheon reception following his services. Thank You!
