Roscoe/Manor Girls Split in Early Week Hoop Action

The Roscoe/Livingston Manor girls’ basketball team had two non-division games early last week. On Monday at Roxbury, R/ LM dominated the host Rockets, 58-32, and on Tuesday at Roscoe, visiting Sullivan West posted a 48-29 decision.

In the Monday game, the Devil/ Cats built a 49-18 lead in the first three quarters. Lindsay Rau scored 26 points, including three three-point goals and grabbed eight rebounds, and Camille Hondromaras got 19 points and came away with 19 rebounds. Emma Hynes led the Roxbury offense with 12 points

The Tuesday game saw the Bulldogs in control most of the way. Sabrina Martinez tallied 20 points, with Josephine Martinez and McKinley Bernitt tallying 10 apiece. For R/LM, Madison Ackerly netted 12 points, while Rau scored 10 points and Hondromaras got nine rebounds.
