Deposit Man Arrested Twice in One Day

Chase R. Degraw Chase R. Degraw Chase R. Degraw, 27, of Deposit, was arrested by New York State Police, Deposit on Feb. 7, and charged with second-degree menacing when troopers responded to a Wheeler Street home, where police say Degraw intentionally caused another per­son to fear for their safety when he displayed what appeared to be handgun and yelled.

An order of protection was issued against Degraw and after posting bail on the charge, and he was later that night arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt for allegedly violating the order of protection.

DeGraw was sent to the Broome County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond, awaiting a further court appearance.
