Jacob Hanley of Walton has been named a world representative for a Living-Learning Community at the University at Albany. World representatives are students who were selected in fall 2017 to serve as peer leaders in the University at Albany’s Living-Learning Communities (L-LCs). These students were identified and nominated by their L-LC faculty mentors and upperclassmen for having demonstrated leadership within their communities.

The University at Albany congratulates more than 4,000 students who were named to the fall 2017 dean’s list. Students named to the dean’s list earned at least a 3.5 GPA. Kaitlyn Escobar of Walton was named to the fall 2017 dean’s list at Hofstra University. Escobar excelled achieved a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn the spot.

Kenneth Ward of Hobart has been recognized for achieving the Dean’s Honor List for fall semester, 2017 at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. Students on the dean’s honor list have achieved a 3.75 GPA for the semester while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.

SUNY Delhi Student Christopher Wadeson of Hancock was part of a team that placed first in the Residential Construction Management Competition held by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in conjunction with the International Builders Show in Orlando, Fla., in January.

Kyle Smith, Sidney, was named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2017 semester at Quinnipiac University. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower can C.

Mackenzie Liddle, South Kortright, was named to the fall 2017 semester dean’s list at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, North Adams, Mass., with a GPA of 3.8.

Tiffany Leone, Hamden, a graduate of Downsville Central School, was named to the president’s list for the fall 2017 semester at the State University of New York College at Cortland. To be eligible, a student must be full-time and earn at least an A- in all courses. Leone’s GPA was 4.24.
