The next regular meeting of the Walton village board of trustees will be Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. in the board room. There will be a public hearing for input on a multi-use district to the south side of the village.

The water/sewer bills are due without penalty if paid by Feb. 5. A penalty of 10 percent will be added to all outstanding accounts on Feb. 6.

There is no parking on village streets from Nov. 1 through April 1 between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Important note from the sewer department: DO NOT flush wipes of any kind down the toilet, even if they are marked “flushable.” The wipes clog up the sewer lines and the pumps at the Walton Wastewater Treatment Plant, causing additional expenses.
