Hancock Police Bust Marijuana Grow

On Tuesday, September 20 the Hancock Village Police Department executed a search warrant at 353 Sands Creek Rd. in the village as part of an investigation into a marijuana grow operation at that location. Officers arrested Jordan G. Scoville, 29, Hancock, and charged him with criminal possession of marijuana  in the second degree, three counts of unlawful possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and illegally growing marijuana by an unlicensed person.

Additionally, illegal weapons were recovered, including illegal knives and brass knuckles. Scoville was arraigned in Hancock Village Court by Justice Herb Buckley and remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $5,000 bail. The investigation is continuing and additional charges and arrests are pending, according to Hancock Police Chief Brian diLorenzo.
