Project Description:

The applicant proposes to rechannel a 600’ long section of an unnamed tributary to Treadwell Creek. The stream has become filled-in and is overflowing into agricultural land. The material (rock, mud, undergrown, bark, branches) will be removed and the stream rechanneled to it’s proper dimensions. The project is located on County Highway 14 approximately 0.3 miles east of SR 357 intersection.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is not subject to SEQR because it is a Type II action. SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated. State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

Cultural resource lists and maps have been checked. The proposed activity is not in an area of identified archaeological sensitivity and no known registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified or documented for the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
