Because we have so much copy and so many photos this week, this column will be shorter than usual.

On Saturday, this writer covered a boys’ basketball game, the likes of which occur too frequently. Host South Kortright and Milford went “tooth and nail” with each other for the first three quarters, before the SK defense started creating turnovers.

The Rams scored 86 points and the Wildcats had 77 — 163 total points. A total of 21 three-point goals were made. The crowd was buzzing all night, proving that fans like to see a lot of scoring.
